My niece and I went skiing over the weekend. She wore these socks. She never complained at all about her feet being cold! She commented about the compression of the socks around the ankle, it was tighter then she was used to. But said they were comfortable and most importantly kept her feet from getting cold! We were able to ski all day!They didn't keep her shins from hurting, some additional padding on the shin area would be nice since they are listed as ski socks, but they did keep her feet warm!
First off they are colorful and seem true to size. Unfortunately, I would not consider them warm. Maybe late spring, early fall warn. But not winter warm and certainly not skiing warm. They are just not substantial enough to warrant that type of use.
Got these for a ski trip and they were warm as promised. My son was very comfortable. We won't be wearing these very often because we live in a hot climate (Texas) but for the occasional ski trip they are perfect!
Purchased for an upcoming trip. Like the feel of them so we will see how they for my ski trip
